Help fund your education with admission-based scholarships

Funding your education is an important factor when it comes to choosing which college is the best fit for you. IU Fort Wayne supports high-achieving undergraduate international students with a variety of scholarships, which are awarded upon admission to qualified students.
  • Dean's Recognition

    Recipients of the Dean's Recognition Scholarship will receive $11,000 annually for four years, with a total award amount of $44,000. 

    Requirements: Student must have a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and meet one of the following minimum test scores:

    SAT

    • Native English speakers: 1270 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections
    • Non-native English speakers: 620 on Math section or 1270 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math section

    ACT

    • Composite score of 26

    Deadline: Prospective recipients must apply for admission to IU Fort Wayne by April 1.

    Renewal criteria: Students who receive the Dean's Recognition Scholarship must maintain a 2.75 GPA at IU Fort Wayne, and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per academic year.

  • International Ambassador Award

    Recipients of the International Ambassador Award will receive $7,000 annually for four years, with a total award amount of $28,000. 

    Requirements: Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and submit one of the following minimum scores:TOEFL iBT score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.5, or O-Level and equivalents A-B in English Language, PIE Level 7, or SAT (Reading) score of 27, or ACT (English) score of 22, or proof you are a native English speaker

    Renewal criteria: Students who receive the International Ambassador Award must maintain a 2.75 GPA at IU Fort Wayne, and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per academic year.

  • ELS Ambassador Award

    Recipients of the ELS Ambassador Award will receive $7,000 annually for four years, with a total award amount of $28,000. 

    Requirements: Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and successfully complete Level 112 at ELS Language Centers in the USA or Canada. 

    Deadline: Prospective recipients must apply for admission to IU Fort Wayne by April 1.

    Renewal criteria: Students who receive the ELS Ambassador Award must maintain a 2.75 GPA at IU Fort Wayne, and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per academic year.

  • Transfer Award

    The Transfer Award is given to students who transfer to IU Fort Wayne from another institution have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Recipients of the Nonresident Service Award will receive $7,000 annually for two years, with a total award amount of $14,000.

    Renewal criteria: Students who receive the Transfer Award must maintain a 2.75 GPA at IU Fort Wayne, and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per academic year.
