Get active and feel strong

To be truly healthy, you have to be physically active. Luckily, Purdue Fort Wayne provides many great ways for IU Fort Wayne students to have fun and get fit. 

For starters, there’s the Hilliard Gates Center, located on northeast side of campus. It offers more than a 173,000 square feet of workout space and includes strength training equipment, multiple cardio machines, and group fitness classrooms. 

Membership is free for all Indiana University Fort Wayne Students.

You love to move, but treadmills just aren’t your thing? You wish you could get in better shape but lifting weights is intimidating? Intramural leagues might be what you’re looking for. This is your chance to get fitter, build leadership skills, and have a great time with friends playing team or individual sports. 

With nearly a dozen sports offered through Purdue University Fort Wayne, fitting fitness into your schedule has never been easier.
