Taking care of your emotional health

Emotional stress and distress can impact all areas of your life, including academic and professional progress. Your emotional health is just as important as your physical health—and you can’t have one without the other.

Purdue Fort Wayne Counseling Services is here to help students dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, or other types of emotional distress.

IU Fort Wayne students have access to a variety of short-term counseling services—for which there is no charge—to address their individual needs through the Student Assistance Program. These services are confidential and provided in a welcoming, comfortable setting regardless of a student’s race, gender, religion, ethnicity, age, ability, or sexual orientation
