Hello Indiana University graduates! My name is Dr. Ron Freidman, and I am the interim dean of the college of arts and sciences at Purdue University Fort Wayne. I want to really send a heartfelt congratulations from the college for you reaching this momentous occasion. You’ve been through a lot in your past few years. You saw Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne split into IU and into Purdue and then most recently you lived through a pandemic of COVID-19. You should really be congratulated for having made it through these two incredible events and to come out even stronger and resilient in reaching this occasion. We consider you one of our graduates because you are a member of the college of arts and sciences and we relish in you being successful and achieving all your dreams as you move beyond graduation.
