Find scholarships outside of IU
You can find scholarships from many sources in the private sector such as businesses and civic, community, and religious organizations. Scholarship opportunities abound, but it’s your responsibility to find them. Remember, you won’t be considered for a scholarship if you don’t apply.
Where to search for scholarships
We highly recommend that you look for scholarships outside of the university. Free scholarship database searches which offer a wide range of scholarship opportunities are a great place to start:
- Central Indiana Community Foundation (Indiana residents)
- College Board BigFuture
Scholarships offered through specific agencies are available as well here:
We don’t recommend using paid scholarship search sites. You can learn about common scholarship scams at the Better Business Bureau or the Federal Trade Commission.
