Her name? Ruby. Her game? Being a healthcare hero.
Ruby became the offical IU Fort Wayne masoct on IU Day in 2022. She's a go-getter and she’s not afraid to go after her dreams. She can often be found supporting her fellow healthcare workers in all fields and positions. Her personality is almost as big as her tail (but not quite).
Ruby can make an appearance at your event! Just fill out the request form and we'll be in touch as soon as possible.
We will make every effort to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee that you will get your preference. At this time, we can only consider appearances in the Fort Wayne area.
Ruby appears at campus and community events throughout the year to enhance school spirit, promote Red Fox pride, and generate excitement for all.
If you are a current IU Fort Wayne student who loves your school and wants to share that spirit with our community, then we want you! Student Mascots are paid student employees.
To be Ruby you have to be at least 5’6” and no taller than 6’0".
